How to Put a Pop in your Drought-tolerant Garden – Saturday, April 5, 10:00-11:30AM.
Learn the secrets to a colorful drought-tolerant landscape from Janice Moody, a local Master Gardener, nursery owner and garden designer. She will discuss pre-planting considerations, such as soil and sun, and also provide garden design basics that include use of color, shapes, textures and heights, along with her favorite hardy drought-tolerant landscape plants for the Bay Area. And if time, she will discuss how to care and maintain your plants for a year-long healthy and colorful landscape. Janice is a native Coastsider who grew up on a family-owned nursery. She has worn many hats over the years but finally found her true calling when she became a UC Master Gardener in 2010. This led to her current businesses, Seascapes Succulent Nursery and Seascapes Garden Design, specializing in year-round colorful, drought-tolerant plants and gardens, located in Half Moon Bay. She loves sharing her knowledge and passion for sustainable gardening with the public. Space is limited – sign up BELOW to reserve.
