Learn to Nature Journal

Are you looking for a peaceful activity to help you unwind, slow down and find joy in the little things? Nature journaling may be for you! Nature Journaling is a way to help us hone our close observation skills, practice being curious on purpose, and deepen our relationships with nature. This activity emphasizes the process over the product, and no prior art or writing experience is necessary. There is no one right way to do it, but you will learn some prompts and tools to help you get started and, hopefully, continue on your own afterwards! All are welcome to this intergenerational workshop. All supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own sketchbook and writing materials if you’d like!
This workshop is facilitated by Elexis Padrón-- a naturalist, nature journaling educator, and artist based in El Granada. She has five years of experience teaching introductory nature journaling classes for local community organizations.
This is an intergenerational activity, and all are welcome. All supplies will be provided.
