🌿 Follow Deer Creek from the highlands of El Granada to Pillar Point Harbor and discover the hidden path of one of the Coastside’s year-round creeks. Along the way, we’ll explore local history, the Burnham Strip, creek ecology, and current water quality efforts.
💧 We’ll be joined by Clifton Herrmann from the Resource Conservation District, who will share insights on harbor restoration projects, local stream health, and findings from this year’s First Flush water monitoring program.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY INDEMNITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that the Activity for which I am registering (or for my child), including, but not limited to, any class, program or event “Activity” provided in connection with the Granada Community Service District can be dangerous and involves the risk of injury, property damage or death. Despite the risk involved and in consideration of the right to participate, I voluntarily agree to expressly assume any and all risk of injury, property damage, or death which might be associated with participation in the Activity and use of any facilities belonging to the Granada Community Services District. I agree, on behalf of myself and my heirs, successors or assigns, to hold harmless, Indemnify and defend the Granada Community Services District, its officers, employees, affiliates and agents (“District”) against any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, lawsuits or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising in connection with my participation in Activity. I agree to the use of my name and/or image as well as my child’s name and/or image for District publicity. I agree in case of emergency the District may administer CPR or arrange for medical transport. I agree the District is not responsible for lost or stolen items. I agree the District may deny me permission to participate in the Activity.
PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT CONSENT: I give consent for my son/daughter/dependent child to participate in the Activity(ies), and I execute the above release on his/her behalf. I have read and understand the registration form; liability release and parental consent form, and agree to all of the terms and conditions.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS: Many of our recreation classes are being provided by contract with an independent vendor. While the Granada Community Services District has reviewed the vendor’s qualifications, experience and suitability for providing the class, the District may not have screened the individual employees of the vendor. All independent Contractors have been fingerprinted by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department.
PHOTO WAIVER: Granada Community Services District reserves the right to photograph facilities, activities, special events and program participants for potential future use. All photos will remain the property of the Granada Community Services District and may be used for publicity or promotional purposes only. Photos/Videos: The District may use for publicity or marketing purposes, work samples, photographs, slides, videos, DVDs and/or other images taken of myself or of my child while in the program.
REGISTERING OTHERS/MINORS: YOU MAY ONLY REGISTER MEMBERS OF YOUR OWN FAMILY. Minors 12 years of age and over may register with written permission from parents. Some classes require parent participation with minors.
