The District retained the firm Bartle Wells Associates to prepare a sewer rate study which recommended a 5% rate increase year over year to cover the costs of operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and construction of the District's wastewater facilities used for the collection and treatment of wastewater as well as the District's share of the cost of operations, maintenance, and capital improvements of the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside’s wastewater treatment plant and system.  A memo from the General Manager outlining the increases as well as the full study can be found below.
